FIRST OFF ROAD TRIP OF 2008
BARNWELL MOUNTAIN - Gilmer, Texas -TGCHOG’s first run of the 2008 season, was great fun for everyone. We literally had the park to ourselves. Upon arrival on Friday, after setting up base camp we went for an evening -night run. This made the trails a little more difficult but a lot more fun. The next full day we had light rain which made several of the trails more slick than others. The challenges we faced were no match for the power and ability of our Hummers and drivers. We had several new members on the trails that picked up quickly the skills needed for the trails we attacked on this weekend. To all those see everyone there. who attended, the food and conversations lasted into the night. Can’t wait until the next run, hope to see everyone there.
